This is so wasteful! I've heard that they don't want needy people being seen wearing the clothes, because it cheapens the brand. Its disgusting and cruel!

I can understand it. Why should I want to spend a ton of money on stuff that I could get for free if I was poor?

I can understand that aspect of if, but I also can understand that there are poeple out there who need help. Why is it ok to deny them clothes that can help them because of our own pride?

If you think of it this way, top brand companies cannot afford to give their product to "needy" people because when people who can actually afford the top products see the products on "needy" people it depreciates the name of the company. Those top companies therefore cannot survive in the market with other high end companies.
