Tats are stupid. No matter which way they are facing. Let the hate begin.

I think its all a matter of opinion really. I love my tattoo and am super excited to get my next ones, but I know people like you, who hate them. My thought is, who really cares as long as you're happy with your choice? I think hers is really pretty and works on her, but I wouldnt get it on myself.

Tats are as old as man. There is nothing cool about defacing your body. But it is your body. It's still stupid and opinion doesn't really matter. There was a time when tats were relegated to low lifes. Because Hollywood (the bastion of communism and hedonistic thinking) makes it fashionable, all the sheep go right along. FOOLS.

Nikki, I forgot to mention that the Bible forbids tattoos. Did you know that?

I've heard that interpretation, but if youre refering to the tattoo marks described in Leviticus 19, they're clearly related to false religious practices. Its not referring to the art, but marking yourself in connection with cultic religious worship. Tattoos today are for ornamentation or because they have a deeper meaning for the person getting them. To me its the same as putting on different clothes.

Nikki, can you change your tattoo's EVERY DAY like you do clothes?? It's sad how wishy-washy men make the religion of God and his word. As a Christian, you should operate from principal and not what you feel. And in Leviticus, it says not to make ANTY engravings in your skin, for the dead or any reason. You are not your own, you are bought with a Price. That Price was Jesus giving His life. Think about that for a while befroe you give a flippant answer. The King of Kings, God Almighty Himself, gave up a part of His divinity, clothed Himself with humanity and gave Himself as an offering. Remember the Lamb without spot or blemish? Think about that for a while.

Just fyi, my answers are not "flippant", I take this topic very seriously. Also, thank you for caring so much about saving me, but I think we disagree on what that means. I believe that Christ died for my salvation and because He loves us. I DONT believe that decorative tattoo is damaging this body. He was without spot or blemish on His soul. That's what I aim to be, and I will be judged in that way, not by how I look. The Bible also tells us that a man should have a full and untrimmed beard, but I dont belive you're sinning just because you shave.

I am finding this a little hard to believe, but I find myself agreeing(really?) with Nikkie....by the way I have a very full beard and am covered from head to toe in tats...and I don't give a crap what anybody thinks about it! I will be cremated...It's only skin...not my sole!

Ok fatboy, I'll bite. See if you can explain to me what your "soul" is? BTW, nikkie is twisting the Scriptures (she's good at it) regarding the beard issue. I don't give a crap about your body either (as obviously you don't) but my Bible says that your BODY is the temple of the Holy Spirit, correct? I'm confident the Holy Spirit isn't into graffitti (nikkie says "ornamentation"). Think long before you answer.

How exactly am I twisting the scriptures about beards? Leviticus 19:27 "Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard." Truthfully, I think we should just agree to disagree about what we consider "graffitti". And dont worry, I did think about this issue for a long time. I thought and prayed about it for five years before deciding that I was going to get a tattoo. And then I waited even longer to make sure that this one was the right one. My tattoo isnt just decoration and a beautiful piece of art. It's deeply meaningful for me and is something I'm happy to have with me for the rest of my life.

Tattoos are a very personal thing. It obviously means something to her, so who are we to judge?
