is the propper amount to tip? Is there a flat rate you tip? A certain percentage? Do you tip worse for bad service, and better for good service? Do you tip your bartender more then your server? Explayin your tipping strategy and reasoning.
I think tipping 15% is good for an average performance by a server. Then you can decide if they deserve more or less by how they act/show if they care and how much work they do for you.
well.... for really bad service.. i tip 15%.. i'd say my "flat rate" is 20-25% but if the service is really good/excellent they really can get up to 100% in tip.. but realistically that has only happened like 2 or 3 times.. and bartenders just get better tips kuz the bill's usually smaller.. so if i keep a tab open for a big bill, same rules apply... that's just me..
