  wow, I have never seen a picture like that before. Good point. If the persons in the picture were reversed, we would be hearing all about it. Quite disgusting!

  There will always be times or snapshots when a person that represents a group acts out of line, but to hate an entire religion, country or group because of it, isn't wise. No person or group is perfect.

  But if Bin Laden and Al'Quada hired a Madison Avenue PR firm to do their poster, it would not be as good as the that picture for recruiting. Actually, there is one picture worse than this one. Lindy's head is pointing to the camera and she's smiling while she's pulling the leash. In the picture, the man is grimmacing. Sigh...too awful for words.

  So how come no one wants to talk about how Muslims treat their prisioners? Oh yeah, that's right! THEY DON'T TAKE PRISONERS! THEY EXECUTE THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF THEM AND RANSOM A TINY PERCENTAGE SO THAT THEY CAN BUY MORE WEAPONS TO ATTACK UNARMED CIVILIANS! Allah, in his wisdom has seen fit to make their culture vastly inferior to that of the West. They are a thousand years behind us in technology and standard of living. The only reason (some) of these people have so much as running water and indoor toilets is because the West has given it to them. Even their wealthiest and most successful individuals owe their wealth to Western technology. Their dependence on Allah forbids them to blame HIM (or themselves) and so we(and the Jews)are all they have left. The TRUTH is--they don't hate us--they envy us...and fear us for the (completely justified) sense of inferiority a comparison to our culture brings them...

  The fact that we are willing to do this is even more proof for me that we arent as superior as everyone likes to say. The way other countries choose to act shouldnt have anything to to with the standards that we keep.

  @rocketman... I agree with what you said but I wouldn't go as far as to say that they are inferior than us cause the middle east has something that makes the world go.. And that's OIL! How they choose to live their life is up to them and who are we to tell people how they should live?? Also for being a inferior culture the Muslims also have conquered every country that has tried to occupy them britain, Russia, and so far they are doing a great job against us. It's the lack of dependance of technology which keeps them strong not weak. The only reason why we care so much about them and give them running water is not because we care so much about other cultures and countries it's because we want to maintain a good relationship with our big investment... OIL!! The Muslims never occupied any country, they were occupied once the world knew what lies under their soil. (I'm talking recent history)

To have any kind of debate over this would require us both to agree on criteria for judging culture and I'm not sure what that would be anyway. All I know is that they ARE a thousand years behind us and have next to nothing without western technology. Quick, name a contribution from the Muslim world to the modern one. You take away, falafels, belly dancing and attacking unarmed civilians and whaddaya got? Not much. I think Bush was close with his comment, "they hate us because of our freedom". I think THEIR LEADERSHIP, hates us because of our freedom because it requires them to explain to their population why ALLAH in his wisdom has seen fit to bestow a vastly higher standard of living upon the infidels. As far as the rest of the Muslim population, they do what they're told and in this case it is what most losers do--blame other people for their problems. I'm not suggesting that YOU are doing this thinker but anyone who tries to equivocate Abu Ghraib with the actions of radical Islam has a little too much time on their hands and needs to spend some of it on research.
